The best people to promote the use of EVs are EV owners and drivers themselves. The EV Showcase features a group of local EV owners who will exhibit their EV at the Silk Mills Building and talk about the many advantages of driving EVs.

The EV Showcase will include an exciting collection of EV makes and models, including Hyundai IONIQ, Chevrolet Bolt, TESLA, Ford Lightning, Kia, Rivian, Nissan Leaf and the Audi Q4 e-tron. These EVs cover a broad range of price points, performance and style.

Over a dozen EV owners will be at this event - ready and willing to talk with consumers and families who are interested in learning more about EV. It will be the best place to see a great collection of EVs up close and personal. For those who prefer two wheels, e-bikes will also be part of the showcase!

The EV Showcase is hosted by the Silk Mills Building, in partnership with Community Climate Collaborative (C3), Tiger Solar, City of Charlottesville, Albemarle County and Virginia Clean Cities. These local advocacy groups will be on hand to talk about the environmental benefits of EV. The event is supported by the Silk Mills Building, The Community Climate Collaborative, InBio, Tiger Solar, and Jefferson Technology.

The EV Showcase will feature a live radio broadcast from 106.1 The Corner.
