1st Annual Silk Mills Electric Vehicle Showcase

  • Silk Mills Building 700 Harris Street Charlottesville, VA, 22903 United States (map)

Curious about EV’s? Want to learn more about switching to EV?

The best people to promote the use of EV are EV owners and drivers themselves. The EV Showcase features a group of local EV owners who will exhibit their EV at the Silk Mills Building and talk about the many advantages of driving EVs.

The EV Showcase features an exciting collection of EV makes and models, including Chevrolet Bolt, Tesla, Nissan Leaf and the Ford Mustang Mach-e. These EVs cover a broad range of price points, performance and style.

Over a dozen EV owners will be at this event - ready and willing to talk with consumers and families who interested in learning more about EV. It will be the best place to see a great collection of EVs up close and personal. For those who prefer two wheels, e-bikes will also be part of the showcase!

The EV Showcase is hosted by the Silk Mills Building, in partnership with Community Climate Collaborative (C3), Generation180, and Virginia Clean Cities. These local advocacy groups will be on hand to talk about the environmental benefits of EV. The event is supported by Altenergy, Tiger Fuels, Carter Myers Auto and Indoor Biotechnologies, climate leaders in the C3 Green Business Alliance who are committed to reducing their carbon emissions by 45% by 2025.

The EV Showcase will feature a live radio broadcast with Kendall Stewart of 106.1 The Corner.

Join us for this fun family event!
